Even though my skin feels oily moist of the time, I always like to pamper it with sheet masks. Originally created in Asia, these thin pieces of face shape cotton are all the rage right now on the beauty scene...and for good reason! There is a face mask to treat almost any face ailment you can imagine! From masks that contain tea tree oil to help reduce acne, to those that contain brightening ingredients to treat stubborn dark marks. But for today's post, I am going to focus on three masks that I like to use when my skin is feeling a little parched....
1) Dr. Jart+ Water Replenishment Sheet Mask
This sheet mask is as hydrating as its name states. When I first applied it to my face, the mask had an immediate cooling effect and felt super relaxing! After using this for 20 to 30 minutes, my skin looks fresh and feels super moisturized. The effects even last till the next morning (if you're using before bed) Another reason why this mask gets top points from me is that the cotton quality of the actual mask is very good. You don't want to know how many times I used a sheet mask and it completely disintegrated or ripped in half before I could even get it on my face.
2) The FACESHOP Real Nature Aloe Sheet Mask
This is the first sheet mask that sucked me into Korean beauty products, this mask calms my skin like no other (thanks to the aloe). I could have a bunch of angry, swollen pimples on my face and after using this, the bumps are less swollen and look calmer. I totally recommend using sheet mask if your face is feeling dry and irritated. Plus, each mask contain a ton of serum at the bottom of the package.
TIP: Put these in the fridge before use for a extra cooling experience!
3) My Beauty Diary Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mask
These line of masks from Taiwan are a favourite for many beauties and rightfully so! These are masks are almost a little too good at moisturizing your skin. Each mask contains a healthy dose of Hyaluronic Acid which is excellent for plumping and giving your skin lasting moisture. They are also some of the best fitting masks I have ever tried. Seriously they fit my face like a glove! The only negative thing I have to say about this product is the availability. I only know 1-2 places that sell these masks and its usually sold out. You can easily purchase them online but watch out for fakes. There are tons out there!
